Former Vice President, and the presidential candidate of PDP in 2023, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has returned to Nigeria, ready to attend the NEC meeting of his party.
It’s is expected that the meeting will resolve some key issues concerning the affairs of the party.
Key among them is the fate of the party Acting Chairman, Dr Damagum, whome some accused of not taking the bull by horn in suspending some people that openly worked against the party during the last election.
Another interesting aspect of the meeting will be Nyesome Wike and other governors of his team.
Recalled that five governor of the PDP openly endorsed and worked for Tinubu during the last election, and Wike was rewarded by Minister of FCT.
Confirming Atiku’s return, his political associate, Prof Ahmad, popularly known as Pullo Jada posted on his Facebook page, “Arrival, jokes and planning sessions. Welcome back Daddy, Atiku Abubakar.”
It is expected that Atiku will meet some key party men and strategize ahead of highly anticipated NEC meeting on April 18.
