Dangote Foundation Pledges N1.5 Billion to Support Borno Flood Victims

During a visit to assess the damage caused by the recent flooding in Maiduguri, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Aliko Dangote Group, announced a donation of N1.5 billion to support the affected communities.

The donation includes N1 billion to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to collaborate with the Borno State government, and an additional N500 million from the Aliko Dangote Foundation.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, who accompanied Dangote on the visit, also pledged to donate relief materials to support the Borno State government.

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State expressed his gratitude for their generosity, praising Dangote for his consistent support to the people of Borno.

He thanked Governor Sule for his solidarity and support during this challenging time.
