Peller loses massive followers after criticizing 30-day rant challenge

Popular TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller, has experienced a massive drop in his follower count on TikTok and Instagram after making controversial remarks about the trending 30-day rant challenge.

In a widely circulated video, Peller warned Nigerians participating in the challenge that their actions could lead to the government banning TikTok in the country. He urged them to express their frustrations on Instagram or in public spaces like markets instead.

“If you really want to rant, go to Instagram or the market; don’t do it on TikTok. If TikTok gets banned, that will be a major problem,” he said in the viral clip.

His comments sparked outrage across social media, with many accusing him of trying to silence youth voices against bad governance.

As a result, Peller lost hundreds of thousands of followers across his platforms and faced heavy criticism from social media users.
