Nigeria Women National Team, the Super Falcons have qualified to the 2024 Olympics, breaking a 16-year jinx.
The team lead by their head Coach, Randy Waldrum secured the qualification after getting a point against the female national team of South Africa, the Bayana Bayana after beating them 1-0 in Nigeria, which ensured 1-0 on aggregate.
This result sent the Falcons of Nigeria qualified to their first Olympic games since 2008.
Super Falcons assembled their best team for the encounter, which saw team captain, Rasheedat Ajibade scoring from the spot, which was enough to place the Falcons on edge against the Bayan Bayana.
