Fire guts FCT Minister of State’s residence

The private residence of the FCT Minister of State, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, was completely razed down by fire on Sunday afternoon.

Reports suggest that nothing was salvage from the No. 9, Justice Roseline Ukeji Close, Asokoro, as response was slow to arrive the location, Daily Trust reports.

Though no official statement has been released on the incident, the Media Aide to the minister, Mr. Austine Elemue, who confirmed the incident, said the cause of the fire outbreak is being investigated.
