A group under the auspices of K-23 Movement has called on the EFCC and other relevant agencies to expedite action on the alleged charges of corruption levied against governor El-Rufai’s administration. This call was made during a press conference held Wednesday, at the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Secretariat Kaduna. The President of the group, Comrade Bashir Bello in a text signed on behalf of the group yesterday demanded that the House of Assembly Committee’s report be followed to the later to seek justice for the people of Kaduna state who had been made to go through untold sufferings by El-Rufai’s administration. The text reads in parts.

“Sequel to the report of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, I am pleased to welcome you to today’s press conference. “Recent mind-boggling revelations of monumental corruption perpetrated by Mal-Nasir El-Rufai during his 8-year stint as the Executive Governor of Kaduna State necessitated our convening this Press Conference. “We strongly echo our call on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and all relevant security agencies concerned to immediately act on the report by arresting and prosecuting Mal Nasir El-Rufai and all his collaborators indicted by the report.
