Pastor Williams Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, has dismissed rumors about his purported relocation to the United Kingdom.
In a statement on the Facebook page of Cross River State Deeper Life, Pastor Kumuyi labeled these relocation claims as inaccurate.
He clarified that his recent travels were for a crusade and conference, and the time difference prevented live broadcasts of the events.

For instance, in some countries he visited, such as the United Arab Emirates, there is a major time difference that made live transmission impractical.
Pastor Kumuyi explained that his extended travel period and subsequent rest led to misconceptions about his relocation.
After his travels, he took a few days to rest to avoid returning exhausted and unable to preach, which some mistakenly interpreted as a permanent move.
He also recounted receiving a letter addressed to the UK branch of the church from someone seeking prayers and counseling, who believed he had moved to London.
Addressing his congregation, Pastor Kumuyi urged them to remain firm and not be misled by false information, emphasizing that some individuals within the church might seek to turn members against their pastor by spreading inaccurate rumors.
He reassured his followers that he had not relocated and remained committed to his duties.
