Insecurity making Nigeria looks stupid -General T.Y Danjuma 

Former Chief of Defense Staff, General Theophilus Y. Danjuma, (rtd) has said that the insecurity bedeviling the country has reduced it to laughing stock in the world.

TY Danjuma made this remark at  the annual Nwonyo Fishing and Cultural Festival in Ibbi  Local Government Area of Taraba State.

He said, for Nigeria to regain its lost glory, the government must take redical steps to address the insecurity head on.

“Nigerian government must take urgent measures to  redeem the battered image of the country by addressing the security challenges confronting  the nation.” he said

The retired  senior officer reiterated that the lack of insecurity is hindering tye country from investors, saying that no foriegner to like yo invest in a country where there is no security.

Regarding the annual event, he said if they truly want to make the event an international event, then they must do anything possible to ensure security a priority.

“It is sad that Nigeria as a nation has become a laughing stock following the security challenges.
