JAMB pegs cut off mark for 2024 admissions at 140

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has established 140 as the minimum score for university admissions in 2024.

Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, JAMB’s Registrar, made this announcement after discussions with stakeholders during the 2024 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions, held in Abuja on Thursday.

Additionally, the board approved 100 as the minimum score for admissions into Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

Prof. Oloyede clarified that these scores are the minimum requirements, but institutions are not mandated to adhere strictly to them.
