Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf disclosed this during an unplanned visit to Tsanyawa Central and Model Primary Schools on his return from Katsina, where he encountered the headmasters on their duty post.

According to a statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor was notably impressed with the headmasters’ commitment, particularly since they were present in their offices even though schools are currently on vacation.

The Governor mentioned that after consulting with the Commissioner of Education, the State Government would determine a suitable reward to enhance the morale of the head teachers and inspire others to follow their exemplary conduct.

Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf also highlighted that, as part of the ongoing State of Emergency on Education, the schools he visited would be prioritized to create an improved environment for teaching and learning.

He reaffirmed his dedication to making unannounced visits to schools and other government projects across the state to ensure they are implemented efficiently and in line with established standards.

The Governor further encouraged the local youth to take full advantage of the 26 skills acquisition centres reopened by the current administration, allowing them to gain self-reliance and contribute to the socio-economic progress of their families.

In separate remarks, the Head Teachers of Tsanyawa Central Primary School, Mal. Ismaila Alhassan, and Model Primary, Mal. Magaji Sule, expressed their appreciation for the governor’s attention and support to education reform.
