The Chairman of Kano Pillars FC, Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, has generously donated the sum of N100,000 to the players and officials of Kano Professionals FC. This gesture is aimed at supporting the team and ensuring their comfort during their stay in Jos, Plateau State, where they are competing in the ongoing Gusau/Ahlan Pre-season tournament.

The donation was made on Friday evening during a courtesy visit by the Chairman to the team’s hotel in Jos. During his visit, Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar expressed his confidence in the team’s abilities and urged them to continue representing Kano State with pride and dignity, both on and off the pitch.

Speaking through the Media and Communication Directorate of the club, the Chairman emphasized the importance of unity and discipline within the team. He reminded the players and officials that they carry the hopes and expectations of Kano State football fans, and as such, they must always strive to uphold the state’s reputation by exhibiting good sportsmanship and professionalism in all their engagements.

Alhaji Ali also commended the team’s performance so far in the tournament, noting that their dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. He encouraged them to maintain their focus and determination as they progress through the competition, assuring them of the continued support of Kano Pillars FC and the Kano State Government.

Furthermore, the Chairman’s visit and donation highlight the close relationship between Kano Pillars FC and Kano Professionals FC, with both teams sharing a common goal of elevating the standard of football in Kano State. The Chairman’s gesture is a testament to the club’s commitment to fostering talent and supporting football development at all levels.

Kano Professionals FC is one of the participating teams in the 3rd edition of the Gusau/Ahlan Pre-season tournament, which serves as a crucial preparatory event ahead of the upcoming football season. The tournament has brought together several top clubs from across Nigeria, providing a platform for teams to fine-tune their strategies and assess their readiness for the challenges ahead.

Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar concluded his visit by reiterating his unwavering support for the team and wished them success in the remaining matches of the tournament. He assured them that Kano Pillars FC will always stand by them in their quest for excellence and victory.
