The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has apologized to the Federal High Court, Justice Binta Nyako, and Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN.
He apologized formally after accepting his mistake of what the court describes as misconduct which he was said to have done at the last proceedings
Recalls that Kanus is facing terrorism terrorism charges where he’s accused of using the proscribed IPOB to cause mayhem in the south south part of the country.
He is also accused of disregarding constituted authority, by declaring his loyalty to Biafra nation, instead of Nigeria.
During the proceedings, he asked for forgiveness and promised to be of good conduct throughout the duration of his trial.
The apology was contained in a statement that was read in the court by his lead counsel and former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Kanu Agabi.
