There has been controversy after footage of the player appear online training in his club two days after he left Super Eagles camp.

The player came up as a substitute in Real Socieded match yesterday.

Reacting to the development, The Nigeria Football Federation explained the circumstances that led to forward, Sadiq Umar leaving the Super Eagles AFCON 2023 camp, insisting that he was actually injured.
