In what was described as a historic moment for Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, the Executive Governor, received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Entrepreneurship from the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) during its convocation ceremony held today. This esteemed recognition acknowledges his unwavering commitment to human capital development and his outstanding leadership qualities, which have garnered him respect both locally and nationally.

Governor Uba Sani was honoured for his substantial contributions to fostering entrepreneurship and empowering individuals. Throughout his tenure in the Senate and through initiatives led by the Uba Sani Foundation, he has supported thousands, cultivating a spirit of self-reliance among the youth. His vision for a prosperous Kaduna is reflected in the policies he has implemented to create sustainable opportunities for the people.

One of his most notable initiatives includes the construction of three skills acquisition centres across the state. Once completed, these centres will provide training and certification for 400 individuals every three months, resulting in a total of 1,600 trained individuals each year across 19 different trades. This initiative aims to equip the youth of Kaduna State with essential skills to succeed in a competitive job market.

In his acceptance speech, Governor Uba Sani expressed deep gratitude for receiving this honour. He stated that the award is not only a recognition for him but also represents everyone invested in the vision of a better Kaduna State. He emphasized that their collective efforts aim to create a safer and more prosperous future for the state.

The ceremony was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Kaduna State government officials, members of the Federal House of Representatives, members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, executive members of the Kaduna APC, as well as friends and well-wishers, all united in their admiration for the Governor. The atmosphere was filled with joy and pride as attendees celebrated a leader whose influence reached far beyond the borders of Kaduna State.
