Representing the faith-based organization Ittihadil Umma (Unity of People), the delegation, under the leadership of Sheikh Aminu Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, traveled to Kano to demonstrate their support for the Governor’s decision to restore Emir Muhammad Sanusi II to his rightful position.

In response, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf highlighted that the reinstatement of Emir Muhammad Sanusi II fulfilled his electoral promises.

He expressed contentment that Emir Sanusi II, who encountered challenges in 2020, had graciously resumed his role as the 16th Emir, correcting what was perceived as an oversight under the previous administration.

Moreover, the Governor encouraged religious leaders to offer prayers and guidance to his administration as they strive to elevate Kano to loftier heights.

Sheikh Aminu Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, the head of the delegation, expressed gratitude during the visit, commending the Governor for his remarkable achievements in the state and lauding his decision to reinstate the 14th Emir of Kano, Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi.
