Super Eagles beats Ivory Coast 1-0

Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated the Elephants of Ivory Coast to secure their first win of the tournament.

The win, gave Nigeria four points after securing one point at their first match at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The goal came from a second-half penalty by William Troost-Ekong which was the only difference as Nigeria beat the host country at the Olympic Stadium Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Thursday.
