The suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu, on Tuesday, arrived at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Headquarters, in Abuja for questioning.
First Post reports that Edu was invited by the anti-graft agency, shortly after she was suspended by President Bola Tinubu on Monday, over the alleged misappropriation in disbursement of N585 million grant into a personal account, which the Accountant General rejected.
UBA crosses N1 trillion market capitalization
The money is said to be amounting to N585,198,500.00 was meant to be grant for Vulnerable Groups in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Lagos and Ogun States, but was requested to be transferred to one UBA account of one Oniyelu Bridget Mojisola.
