Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has hinted at reshuffling the State Executive Council (SEC).
Aiyedatiwa, who succeeded the late former governor Rotimi Akeredolu, who died of long-term prostate cancer, announced the cabinet reshuffle on Monday.
The governor, who appeared on a radio show in Akure monitored by Daily Trust through his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said he had begun working on putting together a “good team,” stressing that they will be unveiled when the time was right.

“Mr Governor will take his time assembling his team.” He is not going to hurry into anything. He already has a staff working to put together the ideal team.
“He is currently meeting with stakeholders.” And I can guarantee you that when the time comes, he will assemble the appropriate team,” he remarked.
According to the Daily Trust, the proposal to restructure the cabinet arose following the death of former Governor Akeredolu in December of last year.
Aiyedatiwa, who took over when Akeredolu died, had been under heavy pressure to reshuffle cabinet members ahead of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) polls on November 16.
