Tinubu calls emergency security meeting as militants attacks pipeline in Rivers

President Bola Tinubu has called an emergency security meeting regarding Rivers state political crisis.

Those in the meeting includes NASS leadership – Senator Godswil Akpabio and Speaker, Tajuddeen Abbas.

Others include NIA and DIA bosses and other invited guests.

The meeting is coming after a pipeline an explosion has rocked the Trans Niger Pipeline in Bodo Community, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State on Monday.

The political situation in Rivers State is very tense as the assembly members loyal to Wike have started the process of impeaching Governor Simi Fubara.

Recalls that the Supreme Court has recognized the 23 lawmakers, as against the 3 that are loyal to governor.
