This luxury purchase has raised eyebrows, given the current economic challenges facing Nigerians.

Payment for the vehicle was made on July 8, 2024, to QLS Global Services Limited, with an additional N7.1 million paid to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) as tax.

Investigations also reveal that the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, enjoyed a similar benefit.

On May 21, 2024, the NFF spent N87.3 million on an official vehicle for Gusau, purchasing it from Mujaf Automobile Nigeria Ltd.

In the 2024 budget, it was noted that the Minister intended to spend N300 million on two vehicles – a Toyota Prado and a Lexus Jeep RX 570. With the Prado now acquired, attention has turned to these expenditures.
