Minister of Federal Capital, Barrister Nyesom Wike, has backed up the members Rivers State Assembly, loyal to him, insisting that no body has a power to sack them as they were dilly elected by the constituents.
First Post reports that Wike and his estranged boy, Gov Fubara, have been in political battle over Rivers politics.
The battle between the two leaders in the state have caused a serious rift among political stakeholders in the state.
Recalled that in December, 25 Rivers that are allies Wike decamped to APC from (PDP).
After their defection, their seats were declared vacant by Edison Ehie, who was then speaker of the camp loyal to Fubara.
On May 6, Fubara told state legislators loyal to Wike that they owe their existence to him.
