Most Nigerian males experience insecurity when they are in the company of accomplished women, according to Dorcas Shola Fapson, aka Ms. DSF, a media personality and actress from Nollywood.
According to her, they are not confident in their manhood.
This was said by the Nollywood actress while she was on the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, which was co-hosted by actress Moet Abebe and reality personality Tolanibaj.
Men who are threatened by her success have been confronted by Fapson, she said.
It requires a man who is “very secure” to love and support women who are successful, she said.
“It can be intimidating to a lot of men when you are successful, beautiful, and have everything going for you,” she claims. Many of my male friends have told me that I seem frightening.

“To love, encourage, and support someone who is gorgeous, successful, and has everything going for them requires a very secure man. Reason being, you, the male, are expected to contribute significantly. Instead of me having to prove my worth, it is you who must demonstrate your worth to me. You need to climb the ranks and surpass my level.
“For a man to do that and still feel confident in his manhood and not see the successful woman as domineering is an incredible feat.”
