As Super Eagles of Nigeria opens camp in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates as a final preparation for the forthcoming AFCON, former Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama, hints he may teaming up with the team at Abu Dhabi.
The goal keeper stirred reactions after he dropped a cryptic message on his verified Instagram handle showing he could join the technical crew of the national team.
Enyeama reacted to a post by the official Instagram handle of the Super Eagles, where he wrote, ““Let’s go, see you in camp. Time for business.”

It is unclear whether Enyeama will joins the list of former Super Eagles goalkeepers Alloy Agu and Ike Shorunmu as appointed goalkeeper trainers of the national team, but his reaction was welcomed by Super Eagles supporters, with many saying there is a need for good preparations for the goalkeepers as most of them have been accused of failing and flopping.
First Post reports that the former Lille goalkeeper has not been talking about the Super Eagles, until recently where he said he was hurt by the treatment he received under former Sunday Oliseh, where he was forced to retire impromptu.
In another similar development, the camp which is expecting Super Eagles selected players has started experiencing injury updates, with the duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City in doubt of making it to the AFCON final although the extent of their injuries is not yet known as at time of filling this report as both stars didn’t feature in Leicester City’s home agame against Huddersfield Town on Monday.
Commenting the sad news, Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro said he could make changes to the final 25-man squad.
The coach is said to have had lined the duo of Alhassan Yusuf of Belgian First Division club Royal Antwerp and Terrem Moffi of Nice FC France as possible replacement for them.
Super Eagles will be participating in the Africa Cup of Nations for the 20th time, with the their last triumph in South Africa in 2013.
