Al Nassr and Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has set out to beat his goal scoring tally of 2023 after beating the like of Haaland, Mbappe and Harry Kane to clinch the 2023 best goal scorer of the world.

38-year-ols Cristiano Ronaldo finished the 2023 with 54 goals after scoring brace against Al-Taawoun in Saudi Pro League.

Finding by First Post revealed that this is the fifth time Ronaldo will finish the year as the world’s top scorer, having achieved it in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015 when playing at Real Madrid.

While the five times Balon d’Or winner Portuguese international scored 54 in 2023, his erstwhile arch rival, Lionel Messi only scoree just 28 times in 44 appearances.

Speaking about the achievement, he sai, “Next year I will try to do it again. I feel good, I feel happy,” he said in a chat with SSC Sport.
