Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, has vowed to return to Aso Rock villa once the situation of his family improves.
The presidential spokesperson took an indefinite leave of absence due to urgent family medical issues.
In a memo addressed to the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Ngelale explained his decision, which affects his responsibilities as the President’s spokesperson, Special Envoy on Climate Action, and Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen.
The decision followed extensive consultations with his family over several days, as the situation at home worsened.
He requested privacy for himself and his family during this difficult time.
