A group of youth members of  All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to sack the party National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for his failure to deliver Kano State to the party in the last governorship election.

The group under the umbrella of Coalition of APC Kano Youths, made this demand at a news conference held on Sunday, in Kano.

The Chairman of the group, Sadiq Ali Sango, said that Ganduje has proven to be incompetent, divisive, and has betrayed the trust and confidence of the APC members and supporters in Kano State.

According to him, Ganduje’s appointment as the APC National Chairman has violated the zoning arrangement of the party, which clearly shows that the position of the National Chairman should be given to the North Central zone.

Sadiq Ali Sango added that Ganduje should step down immediately and President Tinubu should not give him any appointment due to his records of misappropriation.

Similarly, the APC Youths extended their hand of fellowship to Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, who they recognized as a man of integrity, vision, and courage who has made immense contributions to the development and progress of Kano State and the nation at large.

“We are calling on Kwankwaso to join APC, we are ready to support and work with him for the betterment of our dear state and Nigeria at large,” Solabase reports.

The group also congratulated Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State over his victory at the Supreme Court, and appealed to all the people of Kano State to embrace peace and harmony.
