Mass lootings signals of anarchy – PRP

The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has said the recent incidents of looting of foodstuffs from trucks and in warehouses on highways and across cities are warning signals of the looming anarchy and turmoil that Nigeria faces in the future.

According to a statement by Muhammed Ishaq, the acting National Publicity Secretary of the opposition party, if drastic measures are not taken to address the serious cost of living crisis facing the majority of Nigerian citizens, the country might just drift into anarchy.

The party, while condemning the looting incidents, especially that of Dogarawa, a suburb of Zaria in Kaduna State, where residents looted cartons of spaghetti from a parked truck, urged the government at all levels to implement policies that will address the current challenges.
