The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) has commenced the deployment of trucks to the Dangote Refinery in anticipation of a significant petrol loading event scheduled for Sunday, September 15, 2024.
Approximately 300 NNPC trucks are set to be stationed at the refinery to facilitate the operation.
The company’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, confirmed that preparations are underway, with trucks and personnel already on site.
The deployment will continue through the weekend to ensure a smooth start to loading operations as the refinery begins its scheduled activities.

As of Saturday afternoon, over 100 trucks had already arrived, with more expected to join by the end of the day.
