Ronaldo Scores his fourth hat trick in Al Nassr victory

With four games remaining, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner now has 32 league goals this season, two shy of Abderrazak Hamdallah’s record 34 from the 2018–19 campaign.

Ronaldo scored the first goal in Riyadh in the fifth minute after custodian Monir El Kajoui’s shoddy clearance was intercepted.

After seven minutes, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player scored his second goal by nodding in a cross from Marcelo Brozovic. Ronaldo’s effort from just inside the box early in the second half gave Al-Nassr their eighth straight victory.

According to ESPN Stats & Information research, Ronaldo’s perfect hat trick—scoring with his left foot, right foot, and head—boosted his season total at the club level to 45 goals, his most since he scored 51 for Real Madrid in 2015–16.

Along with Mohammed Al-Fatil and Senegal attacker Sadio Mane, another Portuguese star, Otavio, also scored.

With the victory, Al Nassr, the nine-time Saudi Arabian champion, now trails leader Al Hilal by nine points.
