Former Sokoto PDP chairman dies in Abuja

A former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State, Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma, has died.

He passed away in an Abuja hospital after a long illness.

Milgoma led the PDP from 2015 to 2018 and played a key role in the party’s success in the 2019 general elections in Sokoto State.

The Sokoto State PDP has expressed profound sorrow at his passing, highlighting his contributions to both Sokoto State and Nigeria.

Milgoma was remembered as a respected leader whose dedication significantly impacted the party and the region.

In response to his death, the party has offered prayers for forgiveness and divine reward for Milgoma’s deeds, while also seeking comfort and strength for his family and the Sokoto community during this period of mourning.
